The practice delivers outcome-focused, client-centred advice across all areas of environmental planning and assessment, guided by the Planning Institute of Australia’s Code of Conduct and a firm commitment to professional excellence, competency and ethical practice.
Candor was established with a clear vision: to provide expert guidance and assistance in development assessment matters through a genuinely customer-focused experience. The practice does not accept every commission; we engage only where we are confident we can help clients achieve their objectives within the legislative planning framework, adding real value through informed, professional advice. Candor also actively supports local not-for-profit community organisations, including the Batemans Bay Seahawks Football Club, Moruya Campdraft Association and Moruya Pony Club.
Our team has extensive experience assessing and determining a wide range of development applications, including residential flat buildings, commercial, industrial, tourism and large mixed-use projects, as well as Planning for Bush Fire Protection assessments. We have represented clients as expert witnesses in the Land and Environment Court, at section 34 conciliation conferences, and before the Joint Regional Planning Panel and local councils. In addition to strong statutory planning skills, we deliver strategic planning outcomes through structure plans, rezonings, scheme amendments and the drafting of planning policies and design guidelines. Rebecca has project-managed major developments, and her local government background underpins our focus on clear, customer-centred guidance. Our team is committed to helping the community navigate the planning system and achieve their development goals.
